Course status and related research courses

In the 2026 curriculum for the Information System Design curriculum model at the Faculty of Science and Technology's Saitama Hatoyama Campus, Information System Design Special Graduation Research is an elective course worth 3 credits. It is offered in the second half of the third year as an experiment or practicum. The related course sequence is: Information Studies Seminar, a required 2-credit exercise in the second half of the third year; Information System Design Graduation Research I, a required 3-credit experiment or practicum in the first half of the fourth year; and Information System Design Graduation Research II, a required 3-credit experiment or practicum in the second half of the fourth year.
