Introduction to Algebra: Teacher-License Requirement

Requirement for teacher licensing

In Mathematics Category 2, Algebra group (code 110), Introduction to Algebra carries 2 credits. For the 2026 academic year, it is shaded in the curriculum table and is therefore mandatory for teacher-license purposes. Its graduation classification is free, so it is not counted as a required graduation course. The same group also lists Linear Algebra II, Linear Algebra III, and Algebra, each carrying 2 credits.
