Duplicate Course Restriction for Physical Chemistry I and Solid State Physics

Students in the 2026 Science curriculum model should note that taking a designated course may prevent enrollment in another course with the same course name.

Restriction on taking the same course in another course

If you take a designated course among Physical Chemistry I or Solid State Physics, you cannot take a course in another course that has the same course name. Physical Chemistry I and Solid State Physics are listed under the shared course codes U2 and U3 for the Physics and Chemistry courses.
