Mathematics Placement Test and Basic Calculus A Classes

Class placement based on your test score

For the 2025 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology, the result of the mathematics section of the placement test held in April determines your class. If your score is at or above the cutoff score, you will be placed in Basic Calculus A (Standard), which meets once a week. If your score is below the cutoff score, you will be placed in Basic Calculus A (Introductory), which meets twice a week.
