Physics Requirement: 60 Hours

For the 2025 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus Faculty of Engineering, the physics requirement is 60 hours. Courses marked as one-choice compulsory require you to choose one of Physics Concepts and Exercises A, B, or C.

Required Hours and Course Choices

The required standard for physics is 60 hours. Each corresponding course is worth 2 credits and 30 hours: Basic Physics; Physics Concepts and Exercises A; Physics Concepts and Exercises B; Physics Concepts and Exercises C; Fundamentals of Semiconductor Physics; and Quantum Physics. The asterisk attached to Physics Concepts and Exercises A, B, and C indicates a one-choice compulsory requirement, meaning that one of A, B, or C must be selected.
