Courses Required for the High School Type 1 Information Teaching License

For the 2026 curriculum at the Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Systems Design and Technology, these courses are required for the High School Type 1 Information teaching license.

Required specialist-subject courses

To obtain the High School Type 1 Information teaching license, you must complete the shaded courses in the table for specialist subjects related to the teaching subject. The shaded courses are Information Society and Intellectual Property Rights*, Information Ethics*, Information and Occupation*, Computer Programming II, Digital Signal Processing, Information and Communication Networks, and Multimedia Composition and Practice. This licensing requirement is separate from each course's classification for graduation requirements, such as required, elective, or freely selected courses.
