Credits for Specialized Subject Studies

For the 2025 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus, the required credits differ by teaching license type.

Required Credits by Teaching License

Under Category 2, "Subjects and Methods of Teaching Subjects," the specialized subject studies component requires at least 20 credits under the legal standard for both the middle school Type 1 and high school Type 1 licenses. Tokyo Denki University offers at least 20 credits for the middle school Type 1 license and at least 30 credits for the high school Type 1 license.
