Credits Required by the End of the Third Year for Teaching Practicum

For the 2025 academic year, this page explains the credits that must generally be completed by the end of the third year before undertaking the fourth-year teaching practicum and related courses.

Prerequisite credits for the fourth-year teaching practicum

As a general rule, before undertaking the fourth-year teaching practicum and related courses, including the Practical Seminar in Teaching Profession, you must have earned by the end of your third year the credits for the following prerequisite subjects: the methods of teaching each subject in which you will undertake the teaching practicum, Introduction to the Teaching Profession, Introduction to Education, and Educational Psychology.
