Recommended Introductory Knowledge for Advanced Mechanical Engineering Courses
This guidance explains the introductory courses students are expected to understand before taking certain advanced mechanical engineering courses.
Build a Foundation Before Taking These Courses
For the 2025 academic year, students in the Mechanical Engineering study model at the Faculty of Science and Technology on the Saitama Hatoyama Campus are advised to plan carefully when taking Mechanics of Materials II and Exercises, Engineering Dynamics II and Exercises, or Manufacturing Processes II. Earning credits in these courses can be difficult without understanding the introductory courses, including Mechanics of Materials I and Exercises, Engineering Dynamics I and Exercises, and Manufacturing Processes I and Exercises. Allow sufficient time in your study plan and pay close attention to these course-planning conditions.
