Preparation for Advanced Mechanical Engineering Courses

For the 2025 Mechanical Engineering curriculum model at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus, introductory courses should be understood before taking certain advanced specialist courses.

Courses requiring prior preparation

In the Mechanical Engineering curriculum model, earning credits in Fluid Mechanics II and Exercises, Industrial Thermodynamics II and Exercises, and Machine Elements II is difficult without understanding the corresponding introductory courses: Fluid Mechanics I and Exercises, Industrial Thermodynamics I and Exercises, and Machine Elements I and Exercises. When planning these courses, allow sufficient time and pay close attention to these prerequisites.
