How transferred credits are recognized

For an intra-faculty department transfer within the Faculty of System Design and Technology, general education courses—including human sciences, English, natural sciences, and hands-on workshops—are recognized through course matching. They are recognized regardless of the year in which the course is assigned. The recognized grade is S, A, B, or C; however, the destination department may assign RN.

Specialized education courses are also recognized through course matching. The number of recognized credits is based on the credit value in the destination department, regardless of the year in which the course is assigned. The recognized grade is RS, RA, RB, or RC; however, the destination department may assign RN.
