Review of Doctoral Degree Claims Outside the Doctoral Course

This page explains how doctoral degree claims under Article 3(2), submitted outside the university’s doctoral course, are determined.

Review under the applicable regulations

For a doctoral degree applicant covered by Article 3(2), the degree may be awarded after review in accordance with the Regulations for Review of Degree Claims Outside the University’s Doctoral Course (Latter Stage). Under Article 6(4), the matter is determined in accordance with those regulations.
