For the 2025 academic year, students with poor academic performance may receive oral educational guidance and a preliminary withdrawal recommendation if they meet criteria established through faculty deliberation.

When a Preliminary Withdrawal Recommendation May Be Issued

At Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2025 academic year, a student with poor academic performance may receive oral educational guidance and a preliminary withdrawal recommendation when the applicable faculty body has established GPA standards or similar criteria through deliberation and the student meets those criteria. In the Faculty of Systems Design and Technology, the department chair may take this action after deliberation by the faculty council. In the Faculty of Future Science, the department head may take this action after deliberation by the faculty meeting.
