Applying for a Teaching License in Another Subject

For students in the 2026 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus School of System Design and Technology, this page explains how to apply for a teaching license in a subject not covered by your department’s approved teacher-training program.

Application route for another-subject teaching license

You may be able to obtain a teaching license in a subject for which your department does not have an approved teacher-training program. If you do not have practical experience as a teacher or equivalent experience, your application will be based on either Table 1 or Table 4 of the Teacher's License Act.
