Applying for a Teaching License Through the University

Students generally apply for their teaching license through a university-coordinated application to the Board of Education while enrolled, allowing them to receive the license at graduation.

University-coordinated license application

To obtain a teaching license, you must apply to the Board of Education. While you are enrolled, the university generally coordinates and submits the application to the Board of Education as a group. Through this university-coordinated application, you can receive the teaching license at the same time as graduation.
