Transfer Requirements for the Faculty of Science and Technology

For 2025, Engineering Division II students may be eligible to apply for transfer to the Faculty of Science and Technology based on their year of study, credits, GPA ranking, and progression status.

Eligibility by Year of Study

For an Engineering Division II first-year student, grades through the end of the first-year fall semester must show at least 36 earned credits and a GPA ranking within the top 10% of the student's current first-year department. If selected, the student may transfer to year 2 of the Faculty of Science and Technology.

For an Engineering Division II second-year student, grades through the end of the second-year fall semester must show at least 68 earned credits, a GPA ranking within the top 10% of the student's current second-year department, and satisfaction of the progression conditions for advancement to year 3 in Engineering Division II. If selected, the student may transfer to year 3 of the Faculty of Science and Technology.
