Transfer Eligibility for the School of Science and Technology

Required Credits for Transfer Applicants

For the 2025 academic year, an Engineering Division II first-year student must have earned at least 36 credits in total, including the courses designated by the department, based on grades through the end of the first-year fall semester. A second-year student must have earned at least 60 credits in total, including the department-designated courses, based on grades through the end of the second-year fall semester. In both cases, the student may not sit the transfer examination unless they have earned credits for all designated courses in the desired department.
