Prioritizing Graduation and Home-Department Teaching License Courses

Students may take courses for a teaching license in another faculty or department, but these courses should be treated as additional study after meeting graduation and home-department license requirements.

Plan Additional License Courses Around Your Main Requirements

At the Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of Systems Design and Engineering may take courses in other faculties or departments to obtain a teaching license in another subject while they are enrolled. However, this is an additional qualification beyond the license available through their own department, and it may not be possible to complete all of the required courses by graduation. Plan your coursework so that it does not interfere with your studies. Give priority first to courses required for graduation and to courses required for the teaching license available through your own department. For questions, consult the Tokyo Senju Campus Office, Academic Affairs.
