Passing Scores and Credit Award

For the 2025 academic year, this page explains how course grades determine whether credits are awarded in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus.

When Credits Are Awarded

The instructor in charge grades the course. A score of 60 or higher is a pass, and the number of credits assigned to the course is then awarded. From the university’s perspective, this is called credit recognition; from the student’s perspective, it is called credit acquisition.
