Cases Eligible for Grade R

Grade R is used for recognized credits in specific cases, including credit exchange, certain credits earned before admission, and faculty-designated qualifications.

When Grade R Is Used

Grade R is recorded as “R” on both the grade notification and the transcript. It applies to a course recognized as meeting its learning objectives. The recognized-credit cases listed are: credits earned at another university through credit exchange or similar arrangements; credits earned before admission in cases such as transfer admission, readmission, or transfer between faculties; and qualifications designated by the faculty.
