Teacher License Requirements

A school-specific teacher license is required for teaching positions at several types of schools and for becoming a school nurse teacher.

When a School-Specific Teacher License Is Required

To become a teacher at an elementary school, junior-high school, high school, special-needs school, or kindergarten, you must have a school-specific teacher license. The same requirement applies to becoming a school nurse teacher.
