Credits for Specialized Subject Matters

For the 2026 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus in the School of System Design and Technology, the required university-established credits differ between the Type 1 junior high school and senior high school teaching licenses.

Required Credits by Teaching License

Among the subjects related to academic subjects and teaching methods, Specialized Subject Matters require at least 20 credits established by the university for the Type 1 junior high school teaching license. For the Type 1 senior high school teaching license, at least 30 university-established credits are required. The statutory minimum is 20 credits for both licenses.
