Teaching License Credit Requirements

For the 2026 academic year, the required credits differ between first-class junior high school and high school teaching licenses.

Required Total Credits

At Tokyo Denki University’s Faculty of System Design and Technology at the Tokyo Senju Campus, the first-class junior high school teaching license requires a statutory minimum of 59 credits, with 60 or more credits established by the university. The first-class high school teaching license requires a statutory minimum of 59 credits, with 59 or more credits established by the university.
