Credits Required Before the Fourth-Year Teaching Practicum

This page explains the credits students must earn by the end of their third year before beginning the fourth-year teaching practicum and taking related courses.

Prerequisites by the End of the Third Year

As a general rule, before undertaking the teaching practicum in the fourth year or taking teaching-practicum-related courses, including the Teaching Practicum Seminar, students must have earned by the end of their third year: credits in the teaching-method courses for each subject in which they will undertake the teaching practicum; credits in Introduction to the Teaching Profession; credits in Foundations of Education; and credits in Educational Psychology.
