Discontinued Courses and Advanced Teaching Certificate Credits

Credits from an advanced course may not count toward an advanced teaching certificate if the course is discontinued by the time you enter graduate school.

When Credits from an Advanced Course Are Not Recognized

A course taken and passed in advance may have been designated as a course for obtaining an advanced teaching certificate. However, if that course has been discontinued from the curriculum applicable when you enter graduate school, its credits will not be recognized as valid credits for obtaining the certificate.
