How to Write a Degree Name

When using a degree name, include the name of the university that awarded it.

Append the Awarding University

A recipient must append the name of the university that awarded the degree when using a degree name. The regulation gives the following forms: Doctor of Engineering (Tokyo Denki University), Doctor of Science (Tokyo Denki University), Doctor of Informatics (Tokyo Denki University), Master of Engineering (Tokyo Denki University), Master of Science (Tokyo Denki University), Master of Informatics (Tokyo Denki University), Bachelor of Engineering (Tokyo Denki University), Bachelor of Science (Tokyo Denki University), and Bachelor of Informatics (Tokyo Denki University).
