Credits Required for a High School Teaching Licence

For the 2026 academic year, students must complete prescribed credits in Categories 1, 2, and 3. Category 4 may be exempted under a specific credit condition.

Required Credit Categories

Students seeking a high school teaching licence must earn all prescribed credits in Categories 1, 2, and 3. Category 4 does not need to be completed if the total number of credits earned in Categories 2 and 3 is at least 59.
