Validity of Credits for a Special Teaching Licence

For the 2026 academic year, credits from a designated advance-registration course are not valid for a special teaching licence if the course has been discontinued from the curriculum applicable when you enter graduate school.

When Special Teaching Licence Credits Are Not Recognized

Some courses available for advance registration may be designated as courses for obtaining a special teaching licence. However, if one of these courses has been discontinued from the curriculum applicable when you enter graduate school, its credits are not recognized as valid credits for obtaining the special teaching licence.
