Designated Credits Required for Teacher-Licence Eligibility

For the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering must complete 8 credits from Ministry-designated subjects to meet teacher-licence eligibility requirements.

Required Designated Subjects

Students must complete 8 credits in total from the following Ministry-designated subjects: Constitution of Japan: 2 credits; Physical Education: 2 credits; Foreign Language Communication: 2 credits; and subjects related to mathematics, data utilization, and artificial intelligence, or operation of information equipment: 2 credits.
