How a Withdrawal Grade Is Recorded

This page explains when a withdrawal grade is assigned and where it appears in your academic records.

Withdrawal grade

For the 2025 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the School of Science and Technology, a withdrawal grade means that you did not take the examination, failed to submit a report, were otherwise judged to have abandoned the course, or the course could not be evaluated. The grade is shown on the grade notification but not on the transcript.
