Credits Beyond the Minimum Requirements

For the 2026 academic year, this page explains which additional credits may count toward the university-designated subject category.

Credits Counted as University-Designated Subjects

For students in the School of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the 2026 academic year, credits counted under Category 4, "Subjects Independently Designated by the University," must include credits earned beyond the minimum required credits for Category 2, "Subjects Related to Academic Subjects and Teaching Methods," and Category 3, "Subjects Related to a Basic Understanding of Education, and Other Subjects."
