Validity of Advance-Enrollment Credits for an Advanced Teaching Certificate

Credits earned through advance enrollment may not remain valid for an advanced teaching certificate if the course is discontinued from the curriculum applied when you enter graduate school.

When advance-enrollment credits are not recognized

Courses designated for obtaining an advanced teaching certificate may be included among the courses available for advance enrollment. However, if a course you passed through advance enrollment has been discontinued from the curriculum that applies when you enter graduate school, its credits will not be recognized as valid credits for obtaining the advanced teaching certificate.
