Monthly grant amounts vary by scholarship category and whether you live at home or away from home.

Monthly grant amounts

For the 2025 academic year, the monthly grant-type scholarship amounts are:

- Living at home: Category III: ¥12,800; Category IV for multiple-child households: ¥9,600. - Living away from home: Category I: ¥75,800; Category II: ¥50,600; Category III: ¥25,300; Category IV for multiple-child households: ¥19,000.
