Attendance Methods When a Card Reader Is Not Used

The student ID card-reader attendance method may not apply in some classes or locations. Follow the attendance instructions given by the instructor.

When to Use an Alternative Attendance Method

The student ID card-reader attendance method does not necessarily apply in rooms without a card reader, in courses delivered through a remote system such as Zoom, or when the instructor uses another method to confirm attendance. In these cases, follow the instructor's directions.
