Power Electronics in Electrical Machinery Requirements

The status of Power Electronics differs by academic year and curriculum scope: it is included in the Electrical Machinery course block for 2025, while it must be completed separately from Electrical Machinery in Category 3 for 2026.

2025: Electrical Machinery course block

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, Course Block 3, “Electrical Machinery,” includes Electrical Machinery I, Electrical Machinery II, and Power Electronics.

2026: Category 3 completion requirement

For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, Category 3 requires students to complete both “Electrical Machinery” and “Power Electronics” separately.
