Chemistry Lab B Requirement for Chemistry Main-Course Students

Chemistry Lab B is a required course for students who select chemistry as their main course. The course is also included among the courses required for progression in the chemistry course.

Required courses and progression requirement

For students who select chemistry as their main course, Chemistry Lab A, Chemistry Lab B, Chemistry Lab C, Chemistry Seminar I, and the Science Comprehensive Exercise are listed as courses that must be completed with all credits earned. Chemistry Lab B is a compulsory third-year, 2-credit laboratory/practical course offered in the first quarter, and it is compulsory only for students whose main course is chemistry.

For progression in the 2026 science study model, students who select chemistry as their main course must have completed all courses listed for chemistry with all credits earned: Chemistry Lab A, Chemistry Lab B, Chemistry Lab C, Chemistry Seminar I, and the Chemistry Comprehensive Exercise.
