Students who fail Basic Calculus A (Introductory) must retake the course in the following academic year, which delays the standard study plan.

For the 2025 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology, students who fail Basic Calculus A (Introductory) must retake the same course in the following academic year. This will delay progress compared with the standard study plan.
