Information Literacy and Teaching-License Credit Requirements

Information Literacy course status

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, Information Literacy (Introduction to Mathematical and Data Science) is a required two-credit Engineering Foundation course. In the Faculty of Systems Design and Technology and the Faculty of Future Science, it is listed as an eligible course for the requirement covering mathematics, data use, and artificial intelligence or the operation of information equipment. That requirement has a minimum of two credits. In the Faculty of Engineering, the course is also listed as a required two-credit Engineering Foundation course for the relevant teaching-license credits.
