How to Enroll in Teacher-Training Courses

This page explains the guidance attendance, course availability, registration, and fee conditions for teacher-training courses under the specified academic-year and faculty rules.

Guidance attendance before enrollment

For the Faculty of Future Science in academic year 2026, students may enroll in teacher-training courses only after attending the teacher-training course guidance held in April of their first year. Students who wish to take the teacher-training course must attend. The same requirement applies to students in their second year or above who are starting the teacher-training course for the first time.

When courses are available

For the Faculty of Future Science in academic year 2025, teacher-training courses cannot be taken during the first semester of the first year. Further details are provided in Chapter 6, “Teacher-Training Course.”

Registration and fee conditions

Students must register for teacher-training courses themselves during the course registration period. For the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, in academic year 2025, students who have paid the teacher-training course fee may take teacher-training-related courses; some courses are exceptions to this condition. The same self-registration requirement applies to the Faculty of Engineering in academic year 2026 and the Faculty of Future Science in academic year 2025.

Courses that require individual registration

For the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, in academic year 2026, students must register for courses themselves, including intensive courses, except for some automatically registered courses. Students are instructed to identify the courses they need in advance so that they do not miss any registrations.
