Courses Required Before Teaching Practicum

For fourth-year teaching practicum and related courses, the required prerequisite course credits must generally be completed by the end of the third year.

When to Complete Introduction to Education

Before undertaking the fourth-year teaching practicum or enrolling in related courses, including the Teaching Practice Seminar, you must generally have completed the credits for Introduction to Education, Introduction to the Teaching Profession, and Educational Psychology by the end of your third year. You must also complete the teaching-methods courses for the subject you will teach before the practicum.
