Prerequisites for Education Practicum Courses

Find out which prerequisite credits must be completed by the end of your third year before undertaking the fourth-year education practicum and related courses.

Credits required by the end of the third year

In principle, before undertaking the fourth-year education practicum and enrolling in education practicum-related courses, including the Teaching Practicum Seminar, you must have completed the credits for the teaching methods of each subject corresponding to the subject in which you will undertake the practicum, as well as Introduction to the Teaching Profession, Foundations of Education, and Educational Psychology. This requirement applies to the 2026 academic year for the Faculty of Engineering, the 2025 academic year for the Faculty of Future Science, and the 2025 academic year for the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus.
