For the 2026 science curriculum model, the Mathematical and Information Science Workshop is one of the subjects required for progression in the Mathematical and Information Science course when it is selected as your main course.

Main-course progression requirement

If you select a course in the science field as your main course, you must take and earn credits for all subjects listed in the relevant course column. For the Mathematical and Information Science course, the required subjects are the Mathematical and Information Science Workshop, Mathematical and Information Science Basic Practice, Mathematical and Information Science Applied Practice, Mathematical and Information Science Seminar, and Comprehensive Science Practice.
