Mathematical Informatics Main-Course Requirements and Progression

This page explains the course requirements for students who select the Mathematical Informatics course as their main course and the credits required to progress from the third to the fourth year.

Requirements for the 2025 academic year

For students who selected Mathematical Informatics as their main course, all credits must be earned for Mathematical Informatics Basic Exercise, Mathematical Informatics Applied Exercise, Mathematical Informatics Colloquium, and Comprehensive Science Exercise. These four courses are also required for progression from the third year to the fourth year.

Requirements for the 2026 academic year

For students who selected Mathematical Informatics as their main course, all credits must be earned for Mathematical Informatics Workshop, Mathematical Informatics Basic Exercise, Mathematical Informatics Applied Exercise, Mathematical Informatics Colloquium, and Comprehensive Science Exercise.
