Restrictions on Taking the Same Course Under Another Course Code

For the 2026 Science and Technology Faculty curriculum at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus, taking a designated subject may prevent you from taking the same-named subject offered by another course.

Duplicate Course Restriction

If you have taken a subject covered by Note 1 for either Physical Chemistry I or Solid State Physics, you cannot take the same-named subject offered by the other course. Both subjects are listed under the shared course codes U2 and U3 for the Physics and Chemistry courses.
