For the 2025 academic year, certain English qualifications allow credit recognition for Comprehensive English IA at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus Faculty of Science and Engineering.

- Practical English Proficiency Test (Eiken) Grade 2 or a TOEIC score of 550 or higher - Eiken Pre-1 or a TOEIC score of 730 or higher - Eiken Grade 1 or a TOEIC score of 850 or higher
