When to Take Continuum Physics

Continuum Physics is recommended as a specialist subject for students following the Physics course, including students taking Physics as a minor course.

For students following the Physics course

In the 2026 academic year, students following the Science study model at the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus are recommended to take Vibrations and Waves, Continuum Physics, and Physical Chemistry I as specialist subjects in the Physics course.

For students taking Physics as a minor course

In the 2025 academic year, students taking the Physics course as a minor course in the Science study model at the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus are recommended to take Vibrations and Waves, Continuum Physics, and Chemical Thermodynamics as specialist subjects.
