For the 2025 Electronic Information and Biomedical Engineering curriculum model, it is required when taken as a primary course. It is also listed as a required common subject for the two course tracks in the 2026 Electronic Information Engineering curriculum model.

Requirement for progression to the fourth year

For the 2025 Electronic Information and Biomedical Engineering curriculum model and the 2026 Electronic Information Engineering curriculum model, students must earn credits in Electromagnetics II and Exercises, Electronic Information Circuits I and Exercises, and Electronic Information Circuits II and Exercises to progress to the fourth year.

For the 2026 Electronic Information Engineering curriculum model, progression from the third to the fourth year additionally requires students to take and earn credits in all of the following subjects: Electrical Circuits I and Exercises; Electrical Circuits II and Exercises; Electromagnetics I and Exercises; Electromagnetics II and Exercises; Electronic Information Circuits I and Exercises; Electronic Information Circuits II and Exercises; Electronic Information Engineering Seminar A; Electronic Information Engineering Seminar B; Basic Electronic Information Engineering Laboratory I; Basic Electronic Information Engineering Laboratory II; Electronic Information Engineering Laboratory I; Electronic Information Engineering Laboratory II; and Comprehensive Exercises in Electronic Information Engineering.
