How to Apply for Tuition Payment Deferral

Students who need to postpone tuition payment can find the required form, signatures and information, submission deadline, and designated support office here.

Application deadline and procedure

If you cannot pay tuition by the payment deadline for financial or similar reasons and wish to defer payment, submit the university-designated Tuition Payment Deferral Request Form by the tuition payment deadline. The form must be submitted by that date; prepare it in time for submission.

Required information and where to obtain the form

The Tuition Payment Deferral Request Form must include the student's signature and seal, the guarantor's signature and seal, and the reason for requesting deferral. For the 2026 Faculty of Science and Engineering at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, the form is distributed by the Faculty of Science and Engineering administrative office's Student Welfare desk. For the specified Tokyo Senju Campus faculties and academic years, the form is available from the Student Support Center's Student Welfare desk. Prepare the completed form so that it can be submitted by the tuition payment deadline.

For the specified Tokyo Senju Campus cases, the responsible office is the Student Support Center's Student Welfare desk on the third floor of Building 2.
