How to Apply for a Make-Up Examination

Tokyo Senju Campus: 2025 Future Science

Students who wish to take a make-up examination must complete the required application procedure. During the period designated by the faculty office, submit the make-up examination application together with the prescribed examination fee to the faculty office. In principle, you must receive an examination ticket.

Required documents and submission method

A doctor’s certificate or another certificate, such as a statement explaining the reason, is required with the make-up examination application. For the 2026 Systems Design and Technology and Engineering faculties at Tokyo Senju Campus, the application is handled by the Academic Affairs Office of the Tokyo Senju Campus Administration Department on the third floor of Building 2. For the 2025 Systems Design and Technology, Engineering, and Second Division of Engineering faculties at Tokyo Senju Campus, the supplied information also requires supporting certification. Tokyo Senju Campus: 2026 Future Science

Students eligible for a make-up examination must submit the make-up examination application with the specified supporting documents to the Academic Affairs Office of the Tokyo Senju Campus Administration Department during the period designated when the examination guidelines are announced.

Deadlines, fees, and examination tickets by scope

For the 2025 and 2026 Science and Technology faculties at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, submit the make-up examination application and documents proving the reason for absence to Academic Affairs within three days, including the date of the missed end-of-term examination. For the 2025 Science and Technology faculty at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, the application must also be submitted to the faculty office during its designated period with the prescribed examination fee; in principle, an examination ticket is issued. For the 2025 Second Division of Engineering faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus, submit the application to the faculty office during the designated period with the prescribed examination fee and, in principle, receive an examination ticket. For the 2026 Second Division of Engineering faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus, the application requires a doctor’s certificate or another certificate, and the submission method is announced separately; it is handled by the Academic Affairs Office of the Tokyo Senju Campus Administration Department on the third floor of Building 2.
