Examination requirements

For the Second-Class Electrician qualification, you must pass both the written examination and the practical examination. This requirement applies to the Engineering Division II at Tokyo Senju Campus for academic year 2025.

For academic year 2025, the Second-Class Electrician qualification is listed for the following programmes at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Engineering: EJ Electrical and Electronic Engineering and NE Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Applying for written-examination exemption

For academic year 2026, students in the Engineering Division II at Tokyo Senju Campus may apply for exemption from the written examination after earning the prescribed subjects and credits and graduating. The exemption is granted by application.
